Chemiluminescence arising upon decomposition of dimethyldioxirane adso
rbed from the gas phase onto a silipor surface containing tris(bipyrid
ine)ruthenium(II) and 9,10-diphenylanthracene has been found and some
mechanisms of activation have been suggested.
