Az. Khan, SINGLE-MACHINE INFINITE BUS POWER-SYSTEM TRANSIENT STABILITY - SOFTWARE IMPLEMENTATION, Electric machines and power systems, 26(7), 1998, pp. 699-707
This paper presents an interactive software implementation of the sing
le machine, infinite bus power system. All the methods of analysis for
the power system transient stability have been integrated in the soft
ware. The software is specifically useful for power engineers to compr
ehend the transient stability methods. A distinctive feature of this p
ackage is the user-friendly method for problem definition. Problems ar
e defined by selecting options from menus without typical editor-like
entry approach, as used in other mathematical software, which normally
have their own strict syntax. On-line graphics capability, to enhance
the comprehension of concepts, have been incorporated.
