PANCREATIN AS AN INHALATION AND INGESTION ALLERGEN

IgE-mediated sensitisation and allergic reactions as asthma and rhinit is on enzymes are published. Also the early reaction on proteolytic en zymes after ingestion is described or in other cases assumed. We inves tigated seven patients with suspicion on IgE-mediated reaction on panc reatin an enzyme combination. In four patients specific IgE-antibodies were found by EAST. All patients suffered on pancreatin related asthm a or rhinitis. In one patient later on an early phase-reaction after i ngestion of pancreatin is described.
