S. Waplak et al., THE EPR EVIDENCE OF LOCAL HYDROGEN-BOND DISTORTION EVOKED BY VO2+ IONS IN K3H(SO4)(2) CRYSTALS, Journal of physics. Condensed matter, 10(22), 1998, pp. 373-376
An investigation of the influence of the proton subsystem on the EPR s
pectra of VO2+ ions in K3H(SO4)(2) is performed. The EPR superhyperfin
e structure from protons and their temperature dependences manifest th
e existence of asymmetrical configurations of protons at low temperatu
res. The preserving of the double-minimum character of proton potentia
l on bonds in the near vicinity of VO2+ ions is realized. It is sugges
ted to be caused by redistribution of electron charges.
