Abstract
Two directions or work developed in MSIA Spectrum are described. The f irst is instrumentation for non-destructive testing of multilayer stru ctures by means of low-frequency acoustic methods. The second is advan ced ultrasonic equipment for detecting internal flaws in concrete stru ctures. All the probes of instruments described have dry contact with the object being tested and so don not need any liquid couplants.
