D. Massiot et al., TOWARDS HIGHER RESOLUTION FOR QUADRUPOLAR NUCLEI IN SOLID-STATE NMR AT VERY HIGH-FIELD, COMPTES RENDUS DE L ACADEMIE DES SCIENCES SERIE II FASCICULE C-CHIMIE, 1(3), 1998, pp. 157-162
The recent availability of very high field (800 MHz) and very high mag
ic angle spinning rates (35.5 kHz) can lead to important improvements
in the field of solid state NMR of half integer quadrupolar nuclei sho
wing important or severe second-order quadrupolar broadenings (Al-27,
Ga-71...). We give experimental examples of these improvements in the
case of both crystalline, defect-bearing and amorphous materials. (C)
