Abstract
Thioisomunchnone dipoles were generated by the reaction of bromoalkeno yl chlorides with thioamides. The intramolecular dipolar-cycloaddition reaction was used for a short synthesis of the yohimbanoid alkaloid ( +/-)-alloyohimbane. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved .
