Abstract
A new method for the formation of amides on solid phase has been devel oped. The procedure involves the reaction between activated acids in s olution and resin bound iminophosphoranes generated from the correspon ding azides and tributylphosphine. The method is particularly attracti ve when starting from delta azido acids since amides can form without internal cyclization to the lactam, (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
