Abstract
Alkyl groups in trialkylboranes were successfully transferred to carbo nyl compounds in the presence of the platinum cathode and copper anode by electrochemical method. The new, mild electrochemical alkyl transf er reaction produced various substituted alcohols in good yields. (C) 1998 Published by Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
