CORRECTIONS OF O(ALPHA-ALPHA(S)) TO THE DECAY OF THE Z-BOSON INTO BOTTOM QUARKS

For the vertex corrections to the partial decay rate T(Z --> b<(b) ove r bar>) involving the top quark only the leading terms of order act, i n the 1/M-t expansion are known. In this work we compute the missing n ext-to-leading corrections. They turn out to be equally important as t he leading term and therefore have to be included into an O(alpha alph a(s)) analysis to arrive at reliable predictions. (C) 1998 Elsevier Sc ience B.V.
