Abstract
In this paper we give a refinement of the Jensen inequality for any mi d-convex function f by arithmetic means of f evaluated at arithmetic m eans of samples with repetitions. The case of samples without repetiti ons was treated by J. E. Pecaric and V. Volenec (Osterreich. Akad. Wis s. Math.-Natur. Kl. Sonderdruck Sitzungsber. 197, 1988, 463-467). (C) 1998 Academic Press.
