Abstract
This paper presents a method for analyzing the stability of small-sign al microwave amplifiers with any topology. This analysis is performed using the Nyquist criterion and allows detection of the so-called odd- mode instabilities. The method is easily applicable by using commercia lly available microwave CAD.
