M. Brucoli et al., HETEROASSOCIATIVE MEMORIES VIA CELLULAR NEURAL NETWORKS, International journal of circuit theory and applications, 26(3), 1998, pp. 231-241
In this paper a synthesis procedure for heteroassociative memories usi
ng Cellular Neural Networks (CNNs) is presented. The suggested method,
by assuring the condition of symmetry of the interconnection matrix,
guarantees the complete stability of the designed network, besides pro
viding that all the stored patterns correspond to asymptotically stabl
e equilibrium points. Numerical examples are carried out to show the b
ehaviour of the designed memory with respect to input perturbations. M
oreover, the storage capacity and the presence of spurious equilibria
have been investigated. (C) 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
