Abstract
Calyxins A (1), E (2) and F (3), 6-hydroxycalyxin F (4), Calyxin G and epicalyxin G (5 and 6), novel diarylheptanoids having a chalcone or a flavanone moiety, were isolated from Alpinia biepharocalyx K. Schum. and their structures, including the corrected one of calyxin A (1), we re elucidated by spectroscopic methods.
