Abstract
We report a phenomenological model that describes the light output ver sus current (L-I) characteristics of an integrated multifrequency lase r (MFL). This model includes cross talk originating from gain saturati on of a shared intracavity amplifier. Model parameters are obtained si mply by measurement of the total output power of the MFL over the rang e of operating currents for each channel.
