DETECTION OF ENDOMETRIOSIS DURING CESAREA N-SECTION BECAUSE OF HELLP-SYNDROME IN THE 32ND WEEK OF GESTATION

The rare case of a decidualized endometriosis of the appendix vermifor mis is reported in a woman who developed HELLP syndrome during the 32n d week of a twin pregnancy. Cesarean section and simultaneous appendec tomy were performed. An inspection of the appendix should always be ca rried out if an endometriosis-associated anamnesis is known. No pathop hysiological correlations between the HELLP syndrome and the endometri osis of the appendix vermiformis could be found.
