Abstract
In this paper a technique to calculate System Marginal Prices (SMP's) for a multi-area power system is presented. The system is modelled ras ing capacitated arcs, sources and sinks. The SMP's are then calculated using a Network Programming algorithm. System losses are taken into a ccount by adjusting the energy flows by inter-regional as well as intr a-regional loss factors.
