Abstract
The potassium salt of 1-hydroxy-7-azabenzotriazole can be used along w ith acid chlorides of 9-fluorenylmethyloxycarbonylamino acids as coupl ing agents in peptide bond formation. The acylation reactions are rapi d and efficient and can be carried out in an organic medium. The yield s as well as purity of the peptides are satisfactory.
