We extend earlier calculations of the one-loop contributions to the ef
fective Bose Lagrangian in supergravity coupled to chiral matter. We e
valuate all logarithmically divergent contributions for arbitrary back
ground scalar fields and space-time metrics. We show that, with a judi
cious choice of gauge fixing and of the definition of the action expan
sion, much of the result can be absorbed into a redefinition of the me
tric and a renormalization of the Kahler potential. Most of the remain
ing terms depend on the curvature of the Kahler metric. Further simpli
fication occurs in models obtained from superstrings in which the Kahl
er Riemann tensor is covariantly constant.
