Abstract
Transport measurements under pressure and magnetic field on low-doped La0.9Sr0.1MnO3 single crystals have clearly evidenced the stabilizatio n of the low-temperature charge ordered state when increasing pressure and field. The observation of a pronounced change of magnetization, f astly increasing above a certain field threshold, accompanied by an en hancement of the resistivity indicates the presence of a strongly coup led magnetic and structural transformation.
