Abstract
In this correspondence the problem of calculating the power spectral d ensity of a constrained maxentropic vector sequence {a((n))}, a((n)) = [a(i)((n))](0 less than or equal to i less than or equal to N-1), is considered. The constraints of the constituent sequences {a(i)((n))} a re defined by the sofic systems S-i presented by the directed graphs G (i), 0 less than or equal to i less than or equal to N - 1, but the ve ctor sequence itself is constrained additionally, and given by a funct ion phi of constituent graphs (G = phi(G(0),..., G(N-1))). This class of vector constraints is met in parallel multitrack recording. The gen eral case of a simultaneous recording on N tracks is considered, assum ing that the common vector constraint is track-invariant.
