SYNTHESIS OF VITAMIN-B12 DERIVATIVES WITH AN ELECTROPOLYMERIZABLE SIDE-CHAIN

Three new derivatives of vitamin B-12 with a pyrrole head group attach ed to the corrin ring have been prepared. Ligand-exchange reactions an d reduction provided reactive Co-III and Co-II complexes. Their electr ochemical properties and their potential for fixation at the surface o f electrodes by electropolymerization were studied.
