Abstract
A design of a single-frequency semiconductor laser with the emission w avelength 1.06 mu M is proposed. This laser is coupled efficiently to an optical fibre in the core of which a distributed Bragg mirror is fo rmed. The radiation power at the fibre output was found to be 10 mW wh en the laser drive current was 65 mA. The line half-width was estimate d to be less than 1 mHz.
