Abstract
The dependences of the lasing threshold, of the output power, of the s pectrum, and of the polarisation azimuth of the radiation from a ring Nd:YAG chip laser on the azimuth of the linear polarisation of the pum p radiation were observed experimentally for the first time, An attemp t was made to account qualitatively for the dependence of the lasing t hreshold of this laser on the azimuth of the pump radiation polarisati on.
