Abstract
The mass spectrometric behaviour of seven neuroleptic amino alkyl thie no[beta]cycloalkanones has been studied under electron ionization cond itions and with the aid of metastable ion studies, low energy collisio nal experiments and accurate mass measurements. The most relevant frag mentation pathways are discussed and the power of the different method ologies for the characterization of structural isomers has been tested . (C) 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
