Abstract
The mannan from Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast was studied by high fie ld NMR spectroscopy in an attempt to deduce the structure of the polys accharide and to assess the ratio of different side chains. The result s show that all structural information, agreeing with previously publi shed data, can be extracted by analysis of the NMR spectra of the inta ct and modified mannan.
