Abstract
For the vibronic Koster-Slater impurity, a nonadiabatic model of deep levels in semiconductors, we use the Green-function approach to evalua te exactly the thermally stimulated electronic field-emission rates in a general electrostatic field and at a general temperature. It is dem onstrated both analytically and numerically that the usual Oppenheimer formula is useful beyond its nominal validity range.
