It is shown that the spatial field of the moisture content has no sign
ificant features (in a spatial frame of 1000 x 1000 km with a grid sca
le of 100 km) within the range of natural spatial variations and in th
e time intervals preceding the occurrence of a tropical disturbance, d
uring the immediate formation of the initial eddy structure, during th
e transition of the initial structure to the stage of a tropical storm
and after the latter leaves the area in which it was created.
