Abstract
We find the microscopic spectral densities and the spectral correlator s associated with multicritical behavior for both hermitian and comple x matrix ensembles, and show their universality. We conjecture that mi croscopic spectral densities of Dirac operators in certain theories wi thout spontaneous chiral symmetry breaking may belong to these new uni versality classes.
