Abstract
A field experiment was conducted during winter season of 1991-92 and 1 992-93 to study the response of linseed (Linum usitatissimum L.) to va rying irrigation and fertility levels. Plant height, primary branches and seeds/capsule were significantly increased due to irrigation and f ertility levels compared with the control. Two;irrigations and high fe rtility levels increased the grain yield by 1.95 and 6.23 q/ha. Net pr ofit and benefit : cost ratio were highest under these treatments.
