Abstract
The relative toxicity of five insecticides namely monocrotophos, dimet hoate, methylparathion, quinalphos and endosulfan in five concentratio ns, each concentration under four durations to the III nymphal instars and adults of Rhynocoris marginatus (Fabricius) was studied in the la boratory. Methylparathion was the only toxic insecticide for the adult s and monocrotophos, dimethoate and methylparathion were the toxic ins ecticides fbr III nymphal instars at recommended field concentrations. Among the three, methylparathion was the most toxic insecticide.
