SIMULTANEOUS METAL DETERMINATION IN SALERNO GULF - PROPOSAL OF A NEW ANALYTICAL PROCEDURE

A new accurate and precise method for the simultaneous determination o f copper(II), lead(II), zinc(II) nickel(II), cobalt(II), iron(In) and manganese(II) is applied to the sediments of the Salerno Gulf. Such an alytical procedure entails the employment of an attack solution of con centrated perchloric-hydrofluoric acids and of Differential Pulse Volt ammetry (DPV) as instrumental technique. The accuracy and the precisio n, expressed as relative error and relative standard deviation, respec tively, were in all cases less than 6 %.
