Abstract
Using data collected on nearly 4,000 Angle, Hispanic White, and Africa n-American male youths processed at the Hillsborough County Juvenile A ssessment Center, we examine their psychosocial, substance use, and ot her;delinquent behavior differences. In extending the results of previ ous research in a manner consistent with the concept of relative devia nce, significant differences in these variables are found across the t hree groups. Implications of the findings for theory, service delivery , and policy are also considered. [Translations are provided in the In ternational Abstracts Section of this issue.]
