Abstract
The rearrangement of 1-(3, 5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)methyl pyri dinium salts under basic conditions is described. A method for the syn thesis of tyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)methyl-(3-pyridylalkyl)-ethers is elabor ated.
