Abstract
The case of a female spayed, 11 years old, German Shepherd crossbred d og with nodular dermatofibrosis and renal cystadenocarcinoma is report ed. The symptoms and the course of the disease are similar to that rep orted in the German Shepherd dog and the Golden Retriever. Sonography, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging showed the variety of the kidneys' alterations. This is the first documented case in a G erman Shepherd crossbred dog. The occurrence in a crossbred may be due to a dominant heritability.
