Abstract
This paper demonstrates the feasibility of evaluating the morphology o f polymer films on metal electrodes by means of low voltage SEM (1 kV) . The scanning electron micrographs show the surface covering layer of polybithiophene (pbT) which is formed of small particles of about 100 nm in diameter. The continuous growth of thicker layers occurs at sel ected parts of the first coating, forming a porous polymer him. (C) 19 98 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
