Abstract
The cathode material LiCoO2, is synthesized by a sol-gel process. The structure and electrochemical properties are studied by DTA-TG, XRD, S EM, and electrochemical measurements. It is found that a homogeneous L iCoO2, powder with purity and high electrochemical intercalation capac ity can be obtained by the sol-gel process. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science S.A.
