NMR-STUDY OF THE METALLIC STATE OF POLYAN ILINE-CSA

Proton nuclear relaxation times have been measured on PANI-CSA as a fu nction of frequency and temperature. We found that PANI-CSA is not a c lassical 3D metal. We have determined intra and interchain diffusion r ates in the frame of a quasi-1D diffusion model, and their thermal dep endence. Microscopic conductivity has been estimated. Results agree wi th a quasi-1D metallic state.
