Polyaniline protonated with phenyl phosphonic acid was blended with ce
llulose acetate to produce composites with remarkably low conduction t
hreshold p(c) less than or equal to 0.1%. As for generalized variable
range hopping their conductivity follows: sigma = sigma(o) exp(-(T/T-o
)(gamma)). The exponent gamma systematically increase with dilution fr
om 0.5 at high concentration to 0.76 near the percolation threshold. T
he thermal AC conductivity dependance has a scaling behaviour describe
d by 1+ (omega/omega(o)(T))(s) with s close to 0.7. The conductivity d
ata are obtained at variable frequency and temperature; they are compa
red to theoretical models.
