Abstract
This work shows that the binding and the release of Cs+, Ba2+, La3+ an d Th4+ cations can be controlled by the application of a potential to a polypyrrole doped with polystyrene sulfonate exchange-resin. Radiome tric and nuclear techniques were carried out to characterize the rever sibility of the process in relation with the exchanged-cation charge.
