Abstract
A polypyrrole membrane has been used as an electrochemical pump. Molec ules can be made to diffuse through the membrane only by applying oxid oreduction cycles. The system is very sensitive to the nature of the d ifferent species, only the initial doping anion crossing the membrane easily.
