B. Piro et al., A NEW CONDUCTING POLY(AMINOQUINONE) FILM WITH PERSPECTIVE FOR ENERGY-STORAGE, Journal de chimie physique et de physico-chimie biologique, 95(6), 1998, pp. 1522-1525
The electrooxidation of 5-amino-1,4-naphthoquinone (ANQ) in acetonitri
le leads to conducting (10(-1) S.cm(-1)) functionalized polymer films
of polyaniline-type bearing one quinone group per ANQ moiety, electroa
ctive in organic or aqueous solvents. The polymer exchanges cations du
ring the redox process of quinones and is therefore interesting for li
thium ions batteries devices. The measured specific charge is particul
arly hight with about 290 Ah/kg.
