Abstract
The critical points of the continuous series are characterized by two complex numbers l(1,2) (Re(l(1,2)) < 0), and a natural number n (n gre ater than or equal to 3) which enters the string susceptibility consta nt through gamma = -2/(n - 1). The critical potentials are analytic fu nctions with a convergence radius depending on l(1) (or l(2)), We use the orthogonal polynomial method and solve the Schwinger-Dyson equatio ns with a technique borrowed from conformal field theory.
