Abstract
Two methods of high-resolution laser spectroscopy for the forbidden 2( 1)S-2(3)S transition of helium atom are considered: the method of satu ration absorption and the method of two-photon absorption. Analysis ma de has shown that the measurement of the 2(1)S-2(3)S transition freque ncy of helium atom with a relative accuracy 10(-10)-10(-12) is possibl e.
