We have confined clouds of stable and instable Eu+ isotopes in a Paul
trap. Hyperfine splitting of the ground state S-9(4) of Eu+ isotopes o
f 150, 149, 148 mass and the excited level S-7(3) Of Eu+ isotopes of 1
53, 151, 150, and 148 mass was measured in optical-microwave double-re
sonance experiments. The precision of measured frequencies ranges betw
een 10(-9)-10(-6). After extensive second-order correction we derived
coupling constants A and B for magnetic dipole and electric quadrupole
interaction.
