B. Berge et al., X-RAY GRAZING-INCIDENCE DIFFRACTION ON MONOLAYERS AT THE SURFACE OF WATER, Current opinion in colloid & interface science, 3(3), 1998, pp. 321-326
Surface diffraction of X-rays at the air/water interface is now becomi
ng a tool for numerous systems, ranging from simple amphiphiles to lar
ge molecules like C-60 In the past year, several original studies were
conducted on the role of chirality in 2D. The quality of the synchotr
on beams now allows the observation of short-range order, as well as h
ighly ordered protein crystals having large unit cells.
