Abstract
[CH3N(CH2OH)3]+[HPO3H]- is monoclinic, P2(1), with Z = 2, V = 466.3(2) angstrom3 and the following unit-cell dimensions: a = 9.594(1), b = 6 .181(1), c = 8.191(1) angstrom, beta = 106.26(1)-degrees. The atomic a rrangement of the title compound, determined by using 2,076 reflection s and with a final R value of 0.029, exhibits a quasi-total analogy wi th the corresponding monophosphate. The complete hydrogen-bond scheme is described.
