Abstract
A new two-stage approach for robust estimation of large image motion i s proposed. First, template matching is carried out to find large imag e motion up to pixel-level accuracy, and then a differential technique is used to refine the image motion to subpixel accuracy. Experimental results have shown that the proposed approach can estimate visual mot ion both robustly and accurately.
