Abstract
The authors analyse, theoretically and experimentally, the impact of t he bias conditions and of the optical modulation depth of a Mach-Zehnd er external modulator on the optical transmission of a millimetre-wave modulated in 16-QAM format in the context of the development of hybri d optical/radio access networks.
