Abstract
Synovial sarcoma is an uncommon malignant joint tumour in dog and cat. The accurate diagnosis is done by histological examination. Moreover, it allows to determine the tumour grade. The aim of this six cases' s tudy was to check the histological features of these synovial sarcomas and to validate some immunohistochemical techniques used to evaluate ki-67 and PCNA epitopes expression. The results were used to establish a histological grade and to estimate tumour agressiveness. The immuno histological results, particularly their prognosis values, were compar ed to those of the histological examination.
